Director Note

Thanks to all the hearty souls who attended the 2012 event at the Stevenson Dam.  We had many challenges with the water level this year. We hope to try for the river in 2013.  In the meantime, please check out this video. 

Welcome paddlers, spectators, friends and family to the 2012 Lumber Heritage edition of the Cameron County Canoe & Kayak Classic. Thank you all for making this event what it is today. As we move forward to improve our event, we now have a new formal river access at the starting area. A reconstructed parking lot, excavated and leveled boat staging area, and a small pavilion. We have also expanded our kayak classes for 2012 . Our goal is simple, provide a safe, fun, quality paddling experience for everyone to enjoy. I look forward to seeing everyone back and to meeting new faces as well. We are updating our website for 2012 if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call.   Randy!!
